Irma - November 21, 1900 - January 14, 1969
Mrs. Irma Jane Nichols Ellis, 68 of Hampton died Tuesday in the Ouachita Hospital. She was a former school teacher and taught for many years in the Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Hampton. Mrs. Ellis is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert Allison of Forrest City; two sons, Dr. Joe Ellis of Camden and Dr. Bruce Ellis of Stephens; one step son, Howard Ellis of Bethel, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Morris of Bula, Texas, Mrs. Jack Hardin of Littlefield, Texas; one brother, Herman Nichols of Bula, Texas, and fifteen grand children. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hampton, with burial in New Hope Cemetery. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce is in charge of arrangements.
