Estella - December 27, 1900 - April 16, 1980
William Robert Johnson, 83 of Locust Bayou died in a local hospital Tuesday. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Estella White Johnson; a son, George Johnson of Locust Bayou; a brother, Hugh Johnson of Bearden; a sister, Mrs. Edna Guido of Camden, three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Hope Church near Hampton. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - March 20, 1968)
