*Obituary
William Earl Modlin, 80, of Rt. 1, Pocahontas, passed away in Lawrence Memorial Hospital at Walnut Ridge. He was a son of the late Lafayette "Fate" and Sarah (Kellough) Modlin. He was preceded in death by his wife Ludy E. (Hall) Modlin in 1967. He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Thelma White and Mrs. Bernice Tribble, both of Walnut Ridge, Mrs. Imogene Meridith of Batesville; 4 sons, James H. Modlin of Pocahontas, J. P. Modlin of Rt. 2, Plainfiled, IL., E. L. Modlin of Mabelvale, AR, and Raymond Modlin of Rt. 1, Pocahontas; 1 sister, Gertrude Hall of Searcy, AR; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
