Elise Mathilde Bauer, 108, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a retired seamstress for Hart, Schaffner & Marx Clothing and a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Ruth Circle and the Ladies Aid. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Mathilda "Tillie" Cordell of Fort Smith and Eugenia Stoecker of St. Louis; a son, Armin Bauer of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
