Mrs Moore Passed Away; Services Friday
Ada Ann Moore, daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Moser, born at Gid, Arkansas December 30, 1895 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ray Caruthers at Oxford, Ark., Jan 1, 1958, at the age of 62 years and 3 days.
She was married to Jefferson Gibson in 1913. To this union 4 children were born. Mr Gibson died in 1920.
On December 18, 1925 she was married to J. W. Moore. To this union one son was born, Mr Moore preceded her in death in 1944.
She had been a member of the Methodist Church since early in life.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs Ethel Gilford of Kansas City, Mrs Rachel Caruthers of Oxford, Ark., and Mrs Mae Blevins of Union, Ark., two sons, David Gibson of Wenatchee, Wash., and John Moore of Pleasantville, New York, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Easter Johnson, Wenatchee, Wash., Dovie Edwards, Mt. Pleasant, Ark., and Mrs Zada Biles of Sage, Ark., 3 brothers, Sherman and Grant Moser of Wash., Lincoln Moser of Arizona.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 3 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Oxford with Rev. Remmel Rowden of Oxford officiating. Pall bearers were Hayden and Arlan Helm, Remmel Taylor, Sildon Stanford, Ronnel Tanner and Lindel Blevins. Burial was made in the Reeves Cemetery near Guion, Ark., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
