Maudie B. Scott, 85, of Springdale died Jan. 26, 1995, at the Gravette Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1909, to George and Stella Whitehouse Sumter. She was a lifetime resident of this area and a member of the Springdale Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henderson W. Scott.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Marie Wilkins of Pineville, Mo.; one brother, George Sumter of Bartlesville, Okla.; two sisters, Bertha Best and Etta McElwain, both of Claremore, Okla.; three grandsons, Dennis Cortes of Fayetteville, Sean Wilkins of Cave Springs and Scotty Douthit of Russellville; two great-grandchildren, Dale Douthit of Russellville and Brett Wilkins of Cave Springs.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
