Lillian “Momaw” Vera Moser Johnson, 88, of Mount Pleasant died Monday, March 20, 2006 in Melbourne.
She was born March 11, 1918 in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas the daughter of Tom Moser and Mellie (Brown) Moser. She was a homemaker; she enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren. She was a member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by four sons, Bobby, James, Delmas, and Conny Johnson, all of Mount Pleasant; nine grandchildren, Steve Johnson, Duane Johnson, Chet Johnson, Angie Lawrence, Dawn Marshall, all of Mount Pleasant, Blane Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Carol Whitehurst, all of Melbourne, and Kerry Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Eighteen grandchildren; three sisters, Ona Boutwell and Jean Kimmer of Batesville; and Vernice Scot of Doniphan, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Johnson; four brothers; one sister; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
Pallbearers are Blane Johnson, Duane Johnson, Chet Johnson, Kerry Johnson, Kevin Johnson, and Keaton Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Members of the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church and Mark Herrington.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2006.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne officiated by Jerry Taylor and Bruce Qualls.
Interment will be in Reeves Cemetery at Guion under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
