Jessie Calvin Massey, 81, of Fordyce died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at his home. Born August 1, 1923, he was a son of the late Jessie Calvin Massey, Sr. and Hattie Mae Strong Massey.
Mr. Massey was a house painter and a tree farmer. He served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, James Maureen Massey of Fordyce; one son, Art Jay Massey of Fordyce, and one brother, Jim Alvin Massey of Fordyce.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Cemetery with Reverend B.L. Blann officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
