Ruth "Carnell" Holcomb, 90, of Searcy died Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was born in Clay, Arkansas on February 7, 1919, the daughter of John and Foy Wise. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Searcy.
She is survived by a son, Kevin Holcomb; three sisters; Wanda Thompson, Helen Smith, Naomi Townsend and her husband, Clestene Townsend; a sister-in-law, Janice Wise; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Holcomb; her parents; one sister, Francis Hughes; three bothers, Gerald, Dale and Howard Wise.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with Bro. David Crouch and Bro. Doug Duncan officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the funeral home with interment following at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
