SILOAM SPRINGS - Edsel Scott "Butch" Coleman, 57, of Siloam Springs died Oct. 8, 1999, at his home in Siloam Springs.

He was born Aug. 25, 1942, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Edsel F. and Mary Brinkman Coleman. He was raised by Edsel F. Coleman and Luellen Coleman.

Coleman moved from Fort Scott to Siloam Springs 45 years ago. He had been a realtor and developer for the past 27 years and was the owner and operator of Coleman and Company Inc. for 13 years. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Board of Realtors; Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association, the Dawn Hill men's golf association, and the First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs. He attended the University of Arkansas.

Survivors include his wife, Suellen Coleman, to whom he was married Dec. 17, 1960; three daughters and sons-in-law, Terri Woodward and Mike of Grand Prairie, Texas, Cara Bland and Jim of McAlester, Okla., Misti Wanbaugh and John of Siloam Springs; one brother, Douglas S. Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Bill Eason and the Rev. Curt Landry officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
