Eileen Goff, daughter of the late A.J. and Erma (Jones) Mercer, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Conway Regional Hospital. Born July 24, 1915 at Rose Bud, Arkansas, she was 81 years of age. Eileen was a homemaker, a member of Howard General Baptist Church, enjoyed music and singing, and doing crossword puzzles. Eileen lived her life in Cleburne County. Besides her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Glimburn H. Goff on November 29,1992. Eileen is survived by her daughters, Janice Stewart of Aledo, Texas, and Diane Strackbein of Greenbrier, Arkansas; her brothers, Audley Mercer of Hurst, Texas, Jerry Mercer of Auburn, California, and Gene Mercer of Las Vegas, Nevada, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
