O. G. "Si" Sargent was born August 24, 1929. On January 6, 2012, at the age of 82, he went to be with his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his wife, Shelba, his son, Shelton Sargent, two granddaughters, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4-6pm on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home in 201 North 12th Street , Fort Smith , Arkansas .
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith with interment at Garden of Memories in Charleston , AR under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Sterling, David Laffoon, Dr. John Wikman, Jane Sargent, Danny Roberts and James Wagoner.
