Audrey C. Ford Jones, 86, of Rogers, died Monday, Jan. 25, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers.
She was born April 7, 1906, at Rogers, to Harvey Ford and Phebe Harris Ford. A lifetime resident of Rogers, she was a member of Christ's Church, Rogers. She was employed with Southwestern Bell, Benton County Nursery, and was a former legal secretary for J. Wesley Sampler. Her husband, John W. "Bill" Jones, died in March 1992. Her son, Joe Don Jones, died in 1970. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister.
Survivors are her daughter, Anita Buttram of Rogers; a nephew, Frank David Cunningham of Okeechobee, Fla.; three grandchildren, including Karen Walls of Rogers; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel, Rogers, with Jack Garner, Bob Bradley and Jim Whisenant officiating. Burial is to be in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation is set for 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
