OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Brandi June "Callahan" Mathews, 25, of Osage Beach died Jan. 8, 2009. She was born Nov. 1, 1983, in Columbia, Mo., to Mark and Deanna Callahan.
She lived most of her grade school years in Camdenton, Mo. She then moved to Lincoln, where she attended high school. She was attending State Fair Community College in Osage Beach at the time of her death. Brandi was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Stover, Mo., and also attended the Church of Christ in Camdenton.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Mathews; her son, Caleb Mathews; her mother and stepfather, Deanna and Dennis Roberts; her father, Mark Callahan of Osage Beach; stepmother, Trish Callahan of Stover, Mo.; her brother, Colby Callahan of Iberia, Mo.; half brother, Ethan Callahan and two stepsisters, Sara Forsythe and Megan Foushee of Stover; maternal grandmother, Carol Collins of Lincoln; Caleb's grandmother, Barbara Taylor of Mounds, Okla.
There will be a candlelight vigil at 1 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Community Center in Eldon, Mo.
