SILOAM SPRINGS — Imogene Myers Whitmire, 88, of Siloam Springs died Oct. 18, 2006, at West Siloam Springs, Okla. She was born April 9, 1918, near Prairie Grove to Billy and Edna Beaty Moore. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chris Myers and William Whitmire and stepdaughter Tootie Callaway.
Survivors include one son, Billy Myers and wife Darlene of Colcord, Okla.; one stepson, Billy Whitmire of Overton, Texas; two stepdaughters, Tiny Sims of Amarillo, Texas, and Joey Cortinas of Eagan, Minn.; two sisters, Rita Childress of Lincoln and Nina Grant of Farmington; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Gary Davis and Rick Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Summers Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Huffaker, Jason Underhill, Marvin Risley and Ray Braly.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
