Alson J. Keaton, 84, Rt. 2, Springdale, died April 19 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born July 18, 1893, at Dowelltown, Tenn., he was the son of John Wesley and Sarah King Keaton, a member of United Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maudie Wright Keaton of the home; five sons, J.B. Keaton and Junior Keaton of Springdale, Thurman Keaton of Lake City, Fla., William H. Keaton of Robinson and Dee Keaton of Long Beach, Calif.; one stepson, Howard Sparkman of Robinson; one brother, Arthur Keaton of Westville, Okla.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
