Batesville Daily Guard
Billy Ray George, 38, of Mount Pleasant died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Cushman.
Born Oct. 26, 1962, in Marvell, he was the son of Nathan George and Betty Sharp. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn Johnson George; a son, Dakota George of Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Dawn Booker of Melbourne and Cheyenne George of Mount Pleasant; his father and stepmother, Georgia George, of Mount Pleasant; his mother, of Watson; a half brother, Rickey Edward of Melbourne; and a sister, Beverly Short of Watson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sidney Baptist Church. Burial will be in Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery at Guion with arrangements by Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Brent Williams, Herbert Hudson, Tim Whitehurst, Jimmy George, Seth Wortham and Danny Wortham.
