Norrie Leroy Marshall, 60, of Gassville a retired machinist and welder, died Monday at his residence. A native of Iowa, he moved to Baxter County last November from Los Angeles, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verna Marshall of Gassville; three sons Orla, Elro and Keith Marshall, all of Sunnyvale, Calif; his mother Nellie Bruce of Los Angeles; three brothers Don Bruce, Leo Bruce and Orval Bruce and a sister, Mrs Thelma Pratt all of Los Angeles.

The son of Leroy and Nellie Marshall, Mr Marshall was born March 08, 1908, in Iowa and was married to Verna (Duren) Marshall on May 29, 1949. He was a Baptist.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the Baptist Church at Zion near Melbourne (Izard County). Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
