Bobby Ray Chapman, 75 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 in a local hospital.
He was previously employed by Sears & Roebuck in California; he retired as a Riverside Furniture Plant 6 employee after nineteen years of service.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur & Lois (Crutchfield) Chapman and a brother, James Chapman.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 27, 2012 Hall Cemetery Arbor in Natural Dam with burial at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Survived by his wife, JoAnn of the home; two sons, Ron & Scott Chapman both of Fort Smith, one stepson, Danny Mackle of Austin, TX; one step daughter, Becky Staton of Fort Smith; one brother, Bill Chapman of Riverside, CA; Five Grandchildren & One great grandchild.
Pallbearer will be Ron Chapman, Scott Chapman, Danny Mackle, Art Middleton, Gene Blackwell, Terry Johnson
