White River Currant
Dovie Opel Moser Edwards, daughter of the late Daniel and Betty Reeves Moser, died February 15, 1996 at the Sidney Nursing Home. She was 84.
Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Lafferty Community Church.
Survivors include two sons, D.R. Edwards of Mount pleasant and Don Edwards of Melbourne; three daughters, Peggy Caraway of Mount Pleasant; Gail Smith of Mount Pleasant and Ortez Loggains of Melbourne; one sister Easter Johnson of Wenatchee, Washington; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude Edwards; one son, Wendell Edwards; five brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services were held February 17, 1997 at the Lafferty Community Church with Reverend Doyne Robertson officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
Interment was at the Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Crouch Funeral Home in Melbourne
