Ruby Onetta Eary daughter of the late William and Dollie Coleman, was born on September 21, 1916 in the community of Gid. She died on March 16, 2002 in Sidney. She was 85.
Mrs Eary was united in marriage on October 1, 1934 to Lloyd Olan Eary in Guion. To this union four children were born.
Mrs Eary spent her working years as a homemaker, mother and wife. She was a member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Lovetta Hoffman of Freemont, Nebraska; and Pamela Dertinger of Horseshoe Bend; two sons, Lavon Eary of Omaha, Nebraska; and Ronnie Eary of Batesville; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five sisters, Ora Willard, Vernie Warnett, Verdie Lovelady, Myrtle Johnson and an infant sister; four brothers, Albert Coleman, Verlin Coleman, Floye Coleman and one granddaughter, Joy Byes.
Funeral services were March 19, 2002 at the Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel with Brother Hoover Lewis officiating. Pallbearers were Dave Eary, Scott Eary, Mike Hoffman, Gerald Coleman, Leon Brooks and Lloyd Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers were Kenny Hoffman, Danny Eary and Randy Eary.
Interment was at Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home
