Veda Joan (Jody) Bedell, 72, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died July 27, 2005, at her home. Born January 17, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of Ben Casey and Ethyl Smith Casey. She was a member of the Sager Creek Community Church in Siloam Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tommie Dale Casey, Bennie Ralph Casey; one sister, Patricia Ann Younger; and one grandson, Benjamin Michael. Survivors include her husband of thirty-five years, Michael Ray Bedell; two sons, Billy Welch and wife Colleen, and Michael Welch, all of Gladstone, Missouri; five daughters, Kathy Hass and husband Ron of Parkville, Missouri, Sherrie Rackley and husband Garry of Harrison, Arkansas, Patsy Roberts and husband Kenny and Cindy Miller and husband Gene, all of Kansas City, Missouri, and Michelle Franklin and husband Bryan of Springdale, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanne Whalen of Tucson, Arizona. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2005, at Sager Creek Community Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Jim Henderson officiating.
