Batesville Daily Guard
Laruee Craig, 79, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in Batesville.
Born May 2, 1930, in Sage, she was the daughter of Elza and Edith Haley Twilley. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Craig of Batesville and Gary Craig of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Charlie Twilley of Climax Springs, Mo.; six sisters, Ann Ball and Dee Webb, both of Mount Pleasant, Peggy Shipley of Kansas City, Mo., Louise Bidwell of Benton, Texas, Betty Click of Trenton, Mich., and Doris O'Neal of Bradenton, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adam Craig; a brother, John "Bo" Twilley; and four sisters, Martha Reeves, Juanita Bullock, Modema Twilley and Pearlie Laverne Twilley.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Delmus Johnson, Conny Johnson, James Evans, David Clinton, Gary Campbell and Ronnie Caraway.
