SILOAM SPRINGS — Kathryn Rebecca Eagan, 84, of Siloam Springs died June 18, 2000, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1916, in Roswell, N.M., to Earl and Shadye Haynes Allen. A homemaker, she owned the Spot Theater from 1948 to 1962, owned the Grand Theater and worked at Allen Canning. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. Van Eagan.
Survivors include one son, Lynn Eagan of Siloam Springs; one daughter Mary Thomas of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Theresa Gaskin of Springdale and Lurline Bruner of Siloam Springs; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with Dr. Steve Abbott officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
