Sarah Gee Richardson, 66, of Hamburg died Monday, September 15, 2008, at her residence. A native of Monroe, Louisiana, a resident of Hamburg for the past 17 years and a former resident of Crossett, she was a retired waitress who had worked at Mama Bea's and the Harvester Restaurant for many years and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Shawn Price and Deborah Burke, both of Hamburg; two sisters, Mary Gee of Crossett and Patsy Scranton of Hamburg; a sister-in-law, Heidi Gee of Fayetteville, NC; four grandchildren, Melissa Adcock, Krystle Price, Cera & Emma Burke; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter P. & Jessie Opal Howie Gee; a brother, Homer Gee; and a son-in-law, Robert Price.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 18, at the Southside Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Pullin and Eugene Howie officiating. Burial followed at the Snyder Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Byers, Kenneth Aaron, Steven Nelms, Johnny Etheridge, Calvin Frierson, and James Grigsby. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Watt, Don Spurlock, Adrian Ramos, Kenny Meeks and Stephen Hunter. Funeral arrangements were by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
