Mattie Lou Harviston, 51, died Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born November 30, 1925, in Siloam Springs, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tuck Corn. She was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Harviston, Sr., of the home; two sons, David Leon Suggs and James R. Harviston, Jr., both of Siloam Springs; five daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Elmore of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Linda Bradley of Gentry, Ark., Mrs. Mary Sisson of Colcord, Okla., Mrs. Dixie Ethridge of Colcord, Okla., and Miss F1ora Harviston of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Della Webb of Gentry, Ark., Mrs. Mary Robinson of Gentry, Ark., and Mrs. Virginia Brown of Monette, Mo.; one half sister, Mrs. Hazel Phillips of Tulsa, Okla.; and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harviston were held Friday, October 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the Pyeatte Chapel with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
