Margaret Jean Coleman, 87, of Owasso, Oklahoma, died December 27, 2010, at Evergreen Care Center, Owasso, Oklahoma. Born May 10, 1923, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Charles Alfred Anderson and Josephine Samantha Turner Anderson. On February 8, 1948, she married Wilson S. Coleman. She had resided in the Tulsa area for the past 10 years. Margaret was affiliated with the West Siloam Springs Assembly of God Church, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Wilson S. Coleman; one son, Jimmie Coleman; one sister, Bonnie Gailey; one brother Clelland Anderson; her first husband Leonard Speed; one daughter, Barbara Speed; and her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Dwight Coleman, Jack Coleman and wife Carol, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Bennie Coleman and wife Anita of Claremore, Oklahoma; one daughter, Carolyn Jean Aery and husband Ken of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one daughter in law, LaDonna Coleman of Collinsville, Oklahoma; one sister, Violet Helms of Haynesville, Louisiana; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Coleman, Bobby Coleman, Stephen Aery, Thane Mitchum, Terry Mitchum, Michael Schade, and Matthew Helms.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Tim Estes officiating.
