Dean Udell Brewster of Wilburn, Arkansas, born August 3, 1919, in Woodbine, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord, August 22, 2011, at his home.

He was the son of the late Clifford Brewster and Iva Jackson of Woodbine, Iowa.

Mr. Brewster received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University of Flagstaff, Arizona. He started a building trade class at Northern New Mexico Vocational Technical School in 1966. Mr. Brewster earned a Masters of Administrative Education from the University of New Mexico in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He retired Dean of Lamar Community College, Lamar, Colorado.

After a heart condition, he moved to a farm in Wilburn, Arkansas, in 1975. He taught algebra at Triple ā€œSā€ Christian School in Rose Bud, Arkansas, for several years. Mr. Brewster was a member of Gideon International for over 55 years. He served as Sunday School Superintendent at Cleburne County Baptist Church in Heber Springs, Arkansas, as well as deacon for over 25 years when he faithfully came to help start a new mission work with his son and family: Baptist of the Wildwood in Wilburn.

Mr. Brewster is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eunabelle Brewster of Wilburn; three children, daughters Jacqueline Brewster of St. Joe, Missouri, and Joan Smith of Flagstaff, Arizona, and one son, Billy Brewster of Wilburn, Arkansas; one brother, Clifford Brewster of Logan, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. He is also survived by many loved ones and friends. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 26, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Bro. Billy Brewster officiating.

Interment will follow in the Magness Cemetery. Dr. Robert L. Wilson, Jeremy Adams, Lindell Southerland, Dick Coe, Terry Phillips, and Delbert Hooten, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
