Mildred Juanita Welch, 84, of Calico Rock died at her home Thursday, July 20, 2006. She was born October 9, 1921, to William & Maudie Montgomery Suggs in Island Forty, Tennessee.
She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Welch; and two grandchildren, Carl Welch Jr. and Sherry Liles.
Survivors include; five sons, William Welch of Marion, Grover "Buddy" Welch of Pineville, Ronnie Welch of Burton, Michigan, Charles Welch of Marion and Carl Welch of Ogden, Utah; three daughters, Shirley Ransom Liles of Georgetown, Texas, Annie Carlton of Calico Rock and Pat Stephens of Calico Rock; 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were July 24 at the Jordan Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Parnell officiating. Pallbearers were: Ernie Stephens, Travis Welch, Craig Carlton, Robert Liles, Melvin Liles and Tony Liles.
Internment was at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
