MELBOURNE: Hilda Mae Hampton Beel Lockhart, 84, of Melbourne died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, in a Calico Rock hospital.
Born Dec. 12, 1921, in Illinois, she was the daughter of Lavern and Violet Hampton. She was a homemaker and owned and operated two restaurants and a doughnut shop.
She married Ivor E. Beel on Aug. 24, 1938. She married John Lockhart in August 1988.
Survivors include a son, Richard Eugene Beel of Yellville; a daughter, Donna J. Morgan of Melbourne; a brother, Charles Hampton of Menifee, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Annilea Drake of Champaign, Ill., Michael Williams and Donald Morgan, both of Mount Olive, Stacey Henny and Rusty Beel, both of Washington, Mo., Kelly Sigfrids and Kathy Thompson, both of Bull Shoals, and Jennifer Beel of Flippin; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three stepsons, Norman Lockhart, Eric Lockhart and David Lockhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; and a grandson, Ronald L. Morgan.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
