Mr. James William Elkins, age 77, a resident of Siloam Springs, died Thursday morning at the Woodland Manor Rest Home after an extended illness. Mr. Elkins was born August 6, 1899, at Ballard, Okla., and had lived most of his life in this area. He was a retired refrigeration engineer.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Nora Lee Harris of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Tabah Hubbard of Hood River, Oregon, Mrs. Doris Nichols of Mississippi; one brother, Bill Elkins of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. E1kins were held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Pyeatte Chapel with Rev. Jim Burkett officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
