Bentonville -- Mrs. Carrie Louise Plank, 93, of Bentonville died Saturday at her home. She was born Oct. 6, 1870, at Leavenworth, Kan. She was the widow of the late William Plank, who established what is now the Benton county Democrat. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Louise E. Plank of the home and Mrs. Jessamine Smith of Bentonville; a son, William H. of Marlboro, N.Y.; a sister, Miss Georgia Gille of Kansas City, kan.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be announced by Burns Funeral Home.
