HUNTSVILLE -- Lois Nadine Hester, 83, of Huntsville died Oct. 4, 2007, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 5, 1924, at Kansas City, Mo., to Bathes and Maggie Combs Roe. She was a retired beautician, a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Hester of the home; one son, Larry and wife Sharon LaFevers of Russellville; one brother, Bill Roe of Smithville, Mo.; one sister, Lucile Hatman of Salem; one grandson; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Combs officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Viola Cemetery in Viola with Gary Parker officiating. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 727203-9984 or to Children's Homes, 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, AR., 72459-9983. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
