SILOAM SPRINGS-- Mary Elizabeth "Bessie" Hyso, 91, of Siloam Springs died Aug. 28, 2000, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May, 30, 1909, in Coldwater, Kan., to Alva and Mary Dickinson Barnes.
She attended the Church of Christ in Siloam Springs and was retired from Hyso Help Yourself Laundry. Her husband, Emory Edward Hyso, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lou Riggs of Joplin, Mo., Donna Kay Noll and Peggy Ann Maddock, both of Siloam Springs; one brother, Clifford Barnes of Arkansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Charles Cash officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
