SILOAM SPRINGS - Vernie 'Irene' Osbourn, 88, of Siloam Springs died March 2, 2006, at her home. She was born April 3, 1917, in Cherokee City, Okla., to Frank Poindexter and Dora Staggs. She was a waitress and cleaning person at the Senior Citizens Center in Siloam Springs. She was a volunteer at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab, and a member of Christ Temple.
She was preceded in death by ore son, Richard Osbourn.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Richard Osbourn of Gravette, Carless Osbourn of Kirbyville, Mo., Tonya Williamson of Colcord, Belinda Warren of Gravette; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Luke Church officiating. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
