Donald Hale Webb, 75, son of the late Orgil Webb and Sarah Hiland Webb, was born July 12, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant. He died July 14, 2005, in Batesville.

He was united in marriage to Imodean Phillips on July 5, 1950, in Batesville. To this union three sons were born. Donald was a self employed carpenter.

He was a member of the Melbourne Church of Christ.

Webb leaves to mourn his passing: his wife of 55 years, Imodean Webb of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law; Gary and Ilein Webb, Marty Webb, and Kelley Down and Tiffany Webb all of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters; Nadine McMahan of Bartlesville, Okla., and Diane Finley of Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, Doyle Webb of Mt. Pleasant, Gerald Webb of Kansas City, Mo., Bob Webb of Mt. Pleasant, and Jack Webb of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; Tra Webb, Autumn Johnson, Cami Powers, Seth Webb, Kyra Webb, Brad Webb, Zach Webb, Tyler Webb and Kiley Webb; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service was July 17 at Melbourne Church of Christ with Eric Williamson and Larry Sellars officiating.

Burial followed at Barren Fork Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers were Howard Lamb, Connie Johnson, Seth Webb, Tra Webb, Brad Webb, Chad Johnson, C.L. Anderson and Leman McMahn.

Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
