Claudia Marie (Moser) Winkle the wife of Plesant "P.R." Winkle. Claudia Marie (Moser) Winkle the daughter of C.H. Moser and Mable (Billingsley) Moser.


Claudia Marie Moser Winkle of Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late C.H. and Mable Billingsley Moser, died September 26, 1998 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was 79.

Mrs. Winkle was a homemaker and a life member of the Teacher Retirement Association. She was also a member of AARP and the First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include her husband, P.R. Winkle: one son, Jack Winkle of Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, Darla Clouse of Mount Pleasant and Sue Hess of Batesville; one brother, Willie Moser of Violet Hill; two sisters, Hazel Blevins of Salem, and Bobbie Hastings of East Wenatchee, Washington; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Naomi Chadsey and one brother, Cecil Moser.

Funeral services were held September 28, 1998 at the Independence Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with Reverend Elvis Sneathern and Reverend Lane Ault officiating.

Pallbearers were Gary Sims, R. W. Hollowell, Ronnie Love, Charles Fulbright, Joe Fulbright and Harlin Hames.

Honorary pallbearers were Earnie Wayne Martin, Dr. Bill Waldrip, Alvin Wiles, Conny Johnson, Collie Shaw, Howard Lamb, Travis Moser and J.W. Fulbright.

Interment was at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Couch Funeral Home in Melbourne.
