Evadean (Phillips) Sloan the wife of Dayton Miller Sloan. Evadean (Phillips) Sloan the daughter of Otis and Addie McGaha Phillips.
MOUNT PLEASANT: Evadean Phillips Sloan, 83, of Mount Pleasant died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in Batesville. Born June 3, 1923, in Stella, she was the daughter of Otis and Addie McGaha Phillips.
She was united in marriage to Dayton Miller Sloan.
She was a homemaker and a care giver to three of her nephews. She was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Sage Church of Christ.
Survivors include a sister, Imodean Webb of Mount Pleasant; 12 nieces and nephews, including Gary Webb, Marty Webb and Kelly Don Webb, all of Mount Pleasant; and nine great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Larry Sellers officiating.
Burial will be in Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Gary Webb, Marty Webb, Kelly Don Webb, Trey Webb, Seth Webb and Tyler Webb.
Honorary pallbearers are her nephews and nieces.
