MOUNT PLEASANT – Myrtle Mae Love Sipe, 83, of Mount Pleasant died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, in a Melbourne nursing home.

Born Aug. 15, 1921, in Sidney, she was the daughter of Delbert Decker Love and Callie Moser Love.

She was a homemaker, a charter member of First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Melbourne and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Sipe Dowdle of Mount Pleasant; a foster brother, Bobby Moser of Douglasville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Regina Womack, Shawnette Treat and Tangela Mckinney, all of Melbourne; four great-grandchildren, Jackie Womack, Allie Womack, Kallie Jo Treat and Jacob Treat, all of Melbourne; and three nephews, Denny Halfacre, Van Halfacre and Glenn Halfacre.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duaine B. Sipe; and a sister, Euna Halfacre.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church at Mount Pleasant with Doyne Robertson and Lee Cording officiating.

Burial will be in Barren Fork in Mount Pleasant under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers will be R.W. Holowell, Earnie Martin, Ronnie Love, Kenny Moser, Gus Sanchez and Ronnie Carraway.

Honorary pallbearers are Dale Smith, Frank Bailey, Conway Hames, Hank Sollock, Bill Givins and Steve Johnson.
