*Obituary
Verna Ward Williams, 83, of Mabelvale, passed away February 4, 2012. Born in Wolf Bayou to Ewing and Ola Sutherland Ward, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jessie Glen Williams and daughter, Karen Brack, she is survived by her son, David W. Williams (Mary) of Drasco; daughter, Glenna James (Robert) of Clarksville; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Burial will follow at Sipes Cemetery in Cleburne County at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
