FULKERSON, J.A. - J.A. Fulkerson died last Thursday morning at an early hour at the home of his son, F.W. Fulkerson in the north part of town after an illness of some time. Funeral services were held at the home Friday morning conducted by Rev. U.S. Thomas of the Baptist church, assisted by Rev. J.J. Dunham of Kansas, a relative of the deceased. The body was taken to Bentonville for interment beside the body of Mrs. Fulkerson, who died several years ago. The Elks order, of which the deceased had been a member for a number of years, had charge of the funeral at the cemetery and quite a number of Rogers members accompanied the body to its final resting place. Mr. Fulkerson was 58 years old and a native of Missouri. The family had made their home in and near Rogers and Bentonville for the past twelve years and were well known to a good many of our people.

FULKERSON, Willie C. BRADLEY - Willie C., daughter of William F. Bradley, was born near Mayview, Lafayette county, Mo. Early in life she professed religion and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. On January the 14th, 1880 she mas married to John A. Fulkerson. Three children were born to this union. Mrs. Fulkerson's health began to fail four years ago. She has undergone two operations and has been moved from place to place for the purpose of improving her health. With this end in view, Mrs. Fulkerson came to Bentonville about two years ago, during which time she has been an invalid. Though afflicted she was of a very cheerful disposition and bore her affliction without complaint. Her conversation at all times was a source of encouragement and inspiration to her friends. On March 17, 1911 at 3:50 a.m. Mrs. Fulkerson closed her eyes on a world of suffering and sorrow and was ushered into that brighter and better world to be forever with the Lord. She was one of six children. Her parents, three sisters and a brother preceded her to the Heavenly home. One brother remains to mourn with the husband and children the loss of a character it is so hard to spare. Mrs. Fulkerson was a devoted wife, a loving and affectionate mother, a faithful sister. In sympathizing with the bereaved husband and children we would remind them that He who doeth all things well is the healer of wounded hearts. May the God of love bless and comfort your heart is the prayer of your pastor. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 18th at the family residence by Rev. Wm. McDougall. The remains were interred in the K. of P. Cemetery. William McDougall.
