Freda Pauline Turner, 76, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
She was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Pocahontas to the late Fremont and Ruby Wilkerson Earley.
She is also preceded in death by brother, James Earley, and son-in-law, Chris French.
She is survived by husband, Herbert Turner Sr.; children, Brenda (Charles) Ralph of Ohio, Susie (Rick) Knight of Illinois, Paula (Dennis) Perrydore of Missouri, Herbert (Charlotte) Turner of Texas, Ginny French of Illinois, Steve (Betty) Turner of Missouri, Mike (Stacey) Turner of Texas and Stanley (Shauntae) Turner of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way. Siblings include John (Lucille) Earley of Illinois, Paulette McNabb of Illinois, Brenda (Dewey) Tomlinson of Illinois and Larry (Cathy) Earley. Stepsisters include Wayron (Frank) Stroud, Mary (Everett) Songer and Joann (Ray) Cain.
Mrs. Turner retired from Esna after 15 years of employment. She was a long-time member of Church of Christ. She battled with cancer for two and a half years.
She was married to Herbert on July 11, 1950, and celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary July 11.
Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
