Lawrence Stanley Raupp the husband of Lorene (McDillion) Raupp. Lawrence Stanley Raupp the son of Albinus Raupp and Elizabeth (Stankey) Raupp.
MELBOURNE – Lawrence Stanley Raupp, 67, of Mount Pleasant died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Mount Pleasant. Born Nov. 3, 1934, at Arlington Heights, Ill., he was the son of Albinus and Elizabeth Stankey Raupp.
He was a meat cutter, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and attended St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Raupp of Mount Pleasant and Leroy Raupp of Elgin, Ill.; a daughter, Theresa Lance of Springhill, Fla.; six brothers, Edward Raupp of Lake Zurich, Ill., Dan Raupp of Marengo, Ill., Al Raupp of Arlington Heights, George Raupp, Teddy Raupp of Wauconda, Ill., and Gene Raupp of Des Plaines, Ill.; and six grandchildren, Monica Doane, Alicia Doane, Ryan Raupp, Deann Raupp, Andrew Raupp, and Cass Raupp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorene McDillion Raupp; a sister, Mary Lou Schaeffer; and two brothers, Raymond Raupp and Jerome Raupp.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in Barren Fork Cemetery with arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Donald Walker, Chad Walker, Phillip Helm, Randal Craig, Gary Fulbright and Steve Riley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Blankenship, Charlie Woods, Daniel Love, Rick Riley, Larry Riley and Randy Tinsley.
