WEST BEND, Wis. — John R. "Rick" Aynesworth, 58, of West Bend, Wis., died Dec. 11, 2010. He was born April 10, 1952, in Shreveport, La., to John E. and Maryetta Sherrell Aynesworth.
He was a valedictorian and National Merit Scholar at East Chambers High School in Winnie, Texas, and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Maryetta Sherrell Aynesworth.
Survivors include his sister, Sheryl (Herbert) Harper of Rogers; nephew Scott (Jennifer) Harper and children, Laine and Ethan, of New Waverly, Texas; nephew, Matthew (Kernily) Harper of Rogers; and close friends, Charlie and Gaytha Hillman and family of Best Bend, Wis.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the West Bend Community Memorial Library in West Bend. Wis., and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at Rogers Cemetery with Pastor John Barclay of Fellowship Bible Church officiating.
