YARBOROUGH, Elias - Elias Yarborough died Sunday morning at eight o'clock at his home in the north part of town. Death was the result of tubercular trouble with which he had suffered for many years. Funeral services were held at the cemetery Monday morning and were conducted by Rev. C.A. Westbrook of the Baptist church. The deceased came to Rogers seven years ago from Madison county where he had lived for many years. He was a native of Tennessee and was seventy-three years old. He served four years in the Union army in a Kentucky regiment. He was married in 1873 and is survived by his wife and eight children, Mrs. John Hawn of this city being the only one who could attend the funeral.
