John Calvin Wells, 83, died Sunday, Dec 8, in Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born near Walnut Ridge (Fender Community). Survivors include a brother Harold Wells of Rockford, IL; two sisters, Nina Wheat of Rialto, CA and Patsy Carlton of Rockford, IL; He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Wells and Agnes (Finley) Wells, 3 brothers, Billy, Lloyd and Albert Wells and one sister, Melissa Simington.
