Donald Walter Fletcher, 55, of Mount Pleasant died July 20, 2004, in Mount Pleasant.
Born July 2, 1949, in Detroit, he was the son of Clifford Walter Fletcher and Dorris Blanche Jewett Fletcher. He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the VFW Jones Lewis Post in Batesville.
Survivors include a son, Sunny Don Fletcher of Wenatchee, Wash.; three sisters -- Jacquelyn Bussell of Mount Pleasant, Doris Jean Moser of Madison Heights, Mich., and Ruth Ann Moody of Mount Pleasant; and two brothers -- Ronald Clifford Fletcher of Wiseman, and Clifford Merle Fletcher of Mount Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was July 24 at Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Brent Ballow officiating. Burial was at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Ray McCormack Jr., Glen Lunsford, Jim Spillman, Rick Smith, Larry Weatherford and Johnny Sollic.
