Alice Fern Richardson
Alice Fern Richardson age 83 of Cave City died Friday February 15, 2013 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born September 18, 1929 at Lauratown, Arkansas to Robert Anderson and Millie Jane Blackwell McCampbell. She was a retired beautician and had worked at Nina’s Style Shop in Cave City. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy R. Richardson; two brothers, Luther McCampbell and Willard McCampbell; three sisters, Lucille Goodwin, Opal Harris and Lessie McBurnett and one grandson, Tony Richardson.
Survivors include one son, Rickey Richardson and his wife Jerrie of Bethesda; one daughter, Roetta Stoneking of Batesville; one brother, Robert E. McCampbell and his wife Sybil of Black Rock; four grandchildren, Andy Richardson of Austin, Texas, Isaac Stoneking of Franklin, Tennessee, Beatrice Edgin and her husband James of Newark and Rickey Richardson of Batesville; two great grandchildren, Gabrielle Stoneking of Franklin, Tennessee and Abram Edgin of Newark; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 19, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Waylon Deen, Jeff Moody, Wayne Goodman, Rickey Richardson, James Edgin, Andy Richardson and Isaac Stoneking.
Honorary pallbearers are Abram Edgin, Gabrielle Stoneking, Dr. Robert Walton, Dr. Qaisar Khan, Jerry Neal Harris and Bobby Joe Goodwin.
