Lester Carl Nixon

September 10, 1930 - November 6, 2005

of Bee Branch, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2005. He was a Baptist minister for forty-four years at HalfMoon, Corinth, Valley Springs, Bee Branch, Mayflower, and Shady Grove. Lester was a North Central Baptist Association Missionary for ten years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren and being outdoors. Lester is survived by Winnie Faye Nixon, his loving wife fifty-six years, three sons: Larry Nixon of Bee Branch, Leland Nixon of Bee Branch, Donnie Nixon of Milan, Texas, two daughters: Donna Pennington of Bee Branch and Susan Stacks of Damascus, thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, Sister Mary Featherston of Kenmore, Washington, Geneva Biagi of Walla Walla Washington, Imagene Lasater of Clinton, Beulamae Lasater of Richland, Washington, and brothers Paul Nixon of Walla Walla, Washington, and Ray Nixon of North Pmt, Washington.

Meeting him in heaven are his parents, Lester and Esther Nixon, Donna Sterling, brother Gary Nixon, an all of his brothers and sisters in Christ that have gone on before him.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 8th at the Roller McNutt in Clinton from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m . The funeral service will be held at South Side Baptist Church at 2pm on Wednesday November 9th 2005. The Burial will be at Morganton Cemetery
