Jeff Kerr died at his home at Newburg on Thursday night, January 30, 1908 of consumption. His wife died about two years ago and he leaves a family of seven children, ages from 2 ½ to 15. The burial was at Philadelphia Cemetery. Mr. Kerr was a brother-in-law of Sam Johnson of this place, who attended the funeral.
